Maharashtra is a State located in India. It is located in western and Central part of India. It has a coastline of 720 kilometers with The Arabian Sea. Maharashtra has total area of 3,07,713 km², which is 1,18,109 square miles. Maharashtra is the third largest state in India, Maharashtra covers 9.36 percent of India's total geographical area. Come, let's have a quick tour of Maharashtra.

Beautiful places to visit in Maharashtra:

• The Ajanta Caves:-

Ajanta caves is a Buddhist monument. This is a group of 29 rocks. These rocks have been carved to form a cave. This cave is located in Sambhaji Nagar of Maharashtra. It is a masterpiece of Buddhism. Ajanta caves are a UNSECO world heritage site. Do visit The Ajanta Caves and explore the sights of it.

• Mahabaleshwar:-

Mahabaleshwar is a hill station of Maharashtra. It is one of the most beautiful places in Maharashtra. Mahabaleshwar is situated on the mountains where people experience extreme cold. Sometimes the clouds cover the sun for several days. There are some places in Mahabaleshwar to visit. Pachgani and Tapola. Pachgani is famous for Krishna river flowing through it. And Tapola is famous for Koyna river flowing through it and the open places, big bushes, eye catching places in Tapola.

• Ramdara Temple:- 

  

 Ramdara Temple is the most beautiful temple I have ever seen. It is situated in Loni-kalbhor in Pune, Maharashtra. Most of the people living in Pune do not know about it. Ramdara Temple is dedicated to lord Shiv and Lord Ram, laxman and Sita. Ramdara Temple is situated In middle of a lake. Carvings are done on the pillars of Temple. The temple is around 200 years old. Do visit Ramdara Temple and witness it's beauty yourself.

Maharashtra is a place of thousands of places like this but I cannot discuss about all of them. This was just a glimpse of Maharashtra. Come to Maharashtra and experience the beauty of it.
