Hi! Welcome to a new blog. Apologies for the lack of updates. Have you ever heard of a cartoon that predicts the future? No, Right? But there is an animated series that has mostly predicted the future and all their predictions came true! Its name is 'The Simpsons'. The Simpsons is an American animated series created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company.

This was a series depicting American Life. It had the Simpsons family which had Homer, Bart, Marge, Lisa and Maggie. It was a series based on fiction. 

How Was the cartoon named 'The Simpsons'?

The producer of The Simpsons James Lawrence Brooks named the characters of the family after his own family name, he named Bart after his own name. He thought that 'Simpsons' sounded familiar to 'Simpleton' which means a person who acts foolish.

The Begning.

The first episode was streamed on December 17, 1989, for half an hour. The first season was ranked in the top 30. It was the longest-running American animated series. About 760 episodes were Streamed.

The Mystery Begins.

Regular cartoon predictions begin coming true. Yes, 'The Simpsons' started predicting the future.

• The Cybertruck: Season 2, Episode 15 (1991)                                        

In this episode, Homer's $82,000 car, which looked like trash, ruined his brother's life. Homer was a hilarious character in The Simpsons. Surprisingly this came true in 2021. I hope everyone remembers Elon Musk's Cybertruck, which was set to be released in 2021 but due to its fail it didn't. What a miracle, right. The Simpsons predicted this 33 years back.

• Smartwatches: Season 6, Episode 19 (1995)

This episode was of Lisa's wedding which was a funny episode(as always). There was a scene of a person talking to his futuristic watch. This was Hugh. At that time this was considered normal and was taken as a joke but now it is possible as smartwatches ended up having the feature of voice recognition.

• Covid-19: Season 4, Episode 21 (1993)

This episode was named "Marge in Chains". In this episode, a news reporter was shown delivering a report on television on the spread of Osaka flu which was similar to the 2020 Coronavirus. Oskaka flu was spread by coughing and sneezing and people suffered from it.

Predictions on 2024

Yes, there are some predictions made by the Simpsons in 2024. They are likely to happen. 

• Trump winning elections: The Simpsons predicted that Donald Trump would win the US 2024 elections. In an episode of 2015, Homer was shown holding a sign board that read 'Tump 2024'.

• Taking over Mars: In an episode of Simpsons, it was shown that in 2031 humans had made a civilisation on Mars. Surprisingly India has set a Mission to Mars known as Mangalyaan-2.
